Q: I’m having trouble downloading the production footage. What should I do next?

A: Send an email to programming@slamdance.com with your name and address and we’ll send you a dvd of the production footage.

Q: Is there a way to remove the time code indicator or is it expected to be in the final cut?

A: Think of your submission entry as a rough cut as if being shown to the director you are collaborating with. If you’re selected as a finalist, we will help you produce a conformed presentation for your festival screening.

Q: I’m having trouble registering using the link on your webpage. Is there a back-up link?

Q: After registering on WAB, what do I need to do to enter?

A: The first step is to add a qualifying project. You can do so by going to “add a project” and follow the steps filling in any information (school information, level, editor(s), contact information) as necessary. Once you’ve done this, you can return to the competition page and submit your entry form.

Q: What format do I submit my Re-Cut in?

A: You can submit your entry in PAL or NTSC on DVD.

Q: When are the deadlines?

A: The deadline to submit your registration is October 1, 2010. The deadline to submit your final Re-Cut entry is postmarked on or before October 29, 2010.
